Play Games

My friend, Bonnie, is hosting a "Game On--Get Altered Challenge" over on the eclectic Paperie Blog.  I love this jointed doll stamp from Stampers Anonymous.  Her name is Lady Luck.  She was stamped on cream cardstock and colored with a red Prismacolor pencil.  The altered part of my collage is a portion of a Scrabble game box bottom.  I covered parts of the box with black gesso. Then I used Liquitex Soft Body Iridescent Rich Gold and Bright Gold paints and sponged them through punchinella and drywall tape as stenciling (I also smeared some of the gold paints with a sponge).  A bit of sparkle was added with Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint.  Lemon Drop was the name of the glitter paint.  I raided my embellishment stash for the Scrabble tiles, the hand charm, the mini cards, the crown charm, the tiny dice beads, the Asian game pieces and the casino chip and roulette sign.  The random glitter tape pieces were added to brighten things up a bit.

Thanks, Bonnie for a fun challenge!    Paulette
