Happy Day Valentine

I used DCWV's JET BLACK STACK for my design.  The white heart was cut with a Paper Trey die and the red heart with a Teresa Collins die.

I entered this in the Rubber Dance Art Stamps January blog challenge.  The challenge is to use black, white and any third color.

Origami Valentine

Another rolo card for the Repurpose Junk Mail Challenge.  My creation uses a stock prospectus as my junk mail. They sent me a 3/4" booklet to read for the one share of Lucent stock I own that's worth under $10. I usually use them for padding on my desk when I'm stamping. It's really nice thin paper so I came up with another idea to repurpose it...folded into an origami heart.

Background paper is Martha Stewart.  Edges, image and folded heart are distressed with Tim Holtz Barn Door red ink.  Image is colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Stamp source is unknown.  Stickers are from Magenta.

Enjoy your day..........................Paulette

Sparkle

Today's card was created for the January Challenge on the Die-namites blog.  The challenge uses this picture for inspiration and design cues.

The die I used is called "Summertime Branch."

I used a repurposed picture of a snowman cut from a Lang catalog.  I used a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder on the background.  I added red Stickles as berries and some plastic snowflakes.

Meet Flakey

A group of crafty friends are doing a challenge using junk mail. I repurposed a picture of a snowman from a Lang catalog. The base was cut with a PTI die from white sparkly fun foam. My BFF, Anna, crocheted the snowflake. My inspiration for the Splitcoaststampers' Saturday Inspiration Challenge is this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/558727897501004242/

In a Winter Wonderland

Today's card was created for the January Challenge on the Die-namites blog.  The challenge uses this picture for inspiration and design cues.

I used a repurposed picture of a snowman cut from a Lang catalog.  The dies I used are below:

I added some red Stickles as berries to the summer branch die-cuts and some white liquid pearl with glitter to the bare branch die-cuts to resemble snow.  I added a red dotted swiss organdy bow.

Repurposing Junk Mail

One of my groups of papercrafting friends, the Meerkats, is currently having a Junk Mail Challenge.  We are also trying out a new format that uses the Rolodex card as the base.  Here are my first two rolo cards that I have made for this challenge:

I used a Lang catalog for the images and titled this one Dreaming of Paris:

*********************************************************************************

This is a bit autobiographical as I've had the bah-humbugs over the holidays and the winter blahs in general. The girl is from one of those pesky subscription flyers they stuff in magazines---aptly named flyers as they fly out when you open the magazine. The coffee and words are from a Lang Co. catalog.
