Trick-or-Treat

It's almost Halloween and these trick-or-treaters are suited up and ready for fun.  This iris fold stamp from Stamp N Plus Scrap N can be found HERE.  The witch's dress was made with the iris fold technique using black ribbon and the ghost was also iris folded using some gold metallic foil paper.  I added black half pearl eyes to the ghost.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The papers are from DCWV.

Hope your Halloween is filled with lots of treats and no tricks........................Paulette

Happy Mail

Look at the amazing goodies I won in the Altered Pages giveaway!  What a delight to come home from a stamping weekend up North to find Happy Mail goodness in my mailbox.  There are clear stamps, paper, stickers and embellies from Glitz Paper's "hello friend" line.  Can't wait to sit down and play with these.

Thanks, Altered Pages.......................Paulette

Prima Doll in Red Polka Dress

The Way to Use It challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to use chipboard. I had the butterfly outline chipboard piece. It was already covered in silver glitter. I backed it with the same red polka dot paper that I used for her paper pieced dress.  The little silver flower at the top is also a chipboard piece.  The flowers are an embroidery applique.

The Girlfriends

This is a center step card easily cut from a die by The Stamp Doctor.  The base paper is DCWV and the designer paper is TPC (The Paper Co.).  The sentiment is a Creative Visions stamp (It's all shits and giggles...until someone giggles and shits) and the ladies is a stamp by Art Impressions.  I colored the ladies with Prismacolor pencils in colors that co-ordinated with the DP colors.  Some Stickles were added as bling.

Have a great day!________________Paulette

Loverly Prima Doll Tag

This week's Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge is to use the Loverly catalog: http://lover.ly/. My inspiration comes from this gift tag sticker: http://lover.ly/shop/stationery?page=6. The dress is paper pieced. I added lace and black rhinestones. The hat is a rhinestone sticker that I stuck to white cardstock and then fussy cut.  The lace and rhinestone flourish border is from Recollections.

Have a great weekend............Paulette

"P" is for Puppy

This week's "Way to Use It" challenge is to take the first letter of our username (mine is Parknslide) and make a card using a theme, sentiment, words , or color that begin with that letter.

Parknslide comes from my grandchildren who nicknamed me Park-and-Slide Gramma because I was the one who took them to the playground every day.

The "P's" here include: puppy, pink, Prima Doll, pinafore, and paper piecing.

This card was made for PAT 27. The theme is the colors: white, silver and pink.

Witch's Brew

I made this card for the Splitcoaststampers
Inspiration Challenge using the Barnes and Noble catalog. My inspiration is here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/hall...=9781402788383
This stamp is from Stamp N Plus' Iris Fold collection. The stamp contains a pattern to form the caldron using the iris folding technique. I used some sparkly black ribbon to fashion the iris fold strips.

Hope you're brewing up some Halloween fun............................Paulette
