Valentines

PK Glitz had a promotion to allow you to try their new Vintage Hues Art Acetates.  They sent me two images as samples to try.  I love vintage and these acetates are so fun to work with and the technique results in a beautiful effect.  You can see a video of the technique HERE.

For the first card I used Glitter Glitz "Sunset" on the heart.  Other products used were DCWV paper, a Cuttlebug Valentine embossing folder, a Spellbinders Venetian Motifs die, a Nellie Snellen die, and Peel-Off Stickers.  Flower was from the Michaels $1.50 bin.
On the second card,

I used "Sunset" Glitter Glitz, paper by DCWV, gold key is from the Paper Dreams Factory, frame is from a thrift store find and I added a pre-made bow and a silk flower attached with a pink pearl brad.

Have a good weekend.  Paulette Akagi

  1. Wow! These are beautiful. You have framed the glittered acetates fabulously to really showcase them. Love the way you have framed each image and the flowers and flourishes are signature Paulette. Lovely. Thanks for the link to the video.
