The stars were out in Hollywood tonight for the Golden Globe Awards. I like to imagine one of the nominees or presenters walking the Red Carpet in my gold & silver gown.
I used a Stamp N Plus stamp from this collection --- Q-IR061. It is an iris fold stamp. I chose a satin finish, gold paper from my stash for the bodice. The skirt was fashioned from two styles of wired Christmas ribbon (you can see how the wired edge on the silver ribbon gives the gown an embroidered look). I added some jewels and some Sizzix die flourishes and my design was complete.

Wow! This dress looks fabulous in the silver and gold with that amazing jewel on the bodice. I like the matte gold with the sparkly silver. Nice contrast. Pretty card, Paulette.
