Birthday Bouquet

This month's challenge on the Die-namites blog  was to use this sketch:

I used these 2 Die-namites in my design.  And the added challenge was to use fabric as a layer.  There is a layer of pink burlap fabric behind the flowers on the right side of my card.

I added Stickles accents and the sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Crafty Secrets.

Have a great holiday weekend.................Paulette

Anniversary Song

This is a card I designed for the May Color Change Challenge on the Rubber Dance Blog.  These are the colors and an optional part of the challenge is to use flowers.
This stamp is from the Rubber Dance catalog and can be found HERE.
I stamped the image and then tore the edges and sponged the torn edges with distress ink.  I added beads and gems to the paper flowers.  The leaves were cut with dies by CC Designs.

Life's Sweet

I made this card for the May 2015 Readers' Art Quest on the Unruly Paper Arts blog.  The paper is DCWV, the stamps are Fiskars and the dies are Couture Creations (doily) and Spellbinders (label).  The treats are paper pieced and I added gems and Stickles.  The ink is Ranger's Tim Holtz Pine Needles.
Wishing a few sweet treats come into your life.......Paulette

Butterfly Birthday

This Butterfly Birthday card was done for the May 2015 DCWV blog sketch challenge.  It uses paper from my favorite stack:  Mariposa.  The borders were punched with Martha Stewart border punches.  The small rectangles were cut with an Ellentina die and sponged with Ranger Wild Honey distress ink.  The larger rectangle was edged with a Krylon gold leafing pen.  The large butterfly was fussy cut from the Mariposa paper and also edged with the Krylon pen.  The DCWV blog challenge can be found HERE:  http://www.dcwv.com/blog
