Foulard Using Hand Sanitizer & Alcohol Inks
I found this technique here: http://inkstainswithroni.blogspot.co...tizer-ais.html The gel in the Purell makes it possible to overlay the colors and makes for an interesting dimensional effect. This stamp is called "Foulard." Which means a silk-like fabric of various colors with various small designs. I thought this stamp and technique were perfect for producing a silk scarf effect.
The size of these pieces are 1 1/8" x 2 3/4" and are called moos. I made these for a moo swap on Splitcoaststampers. The theme of the swap is to make moos represent different techniques and embellishments to serve as art prompts for future projects.
Thanks for stopping by. Paulette
