100 Inchies
100 square inches of fun! Creating inchies is like eating potato chips---you just can't stop at one. I made these inchies for a swap over on Splitcoaststampers. Inspiration and source material comes from trashy romance novels, junk mail, product packaging and found objects. Sitting in a candy bowl on the coffee table they make nice conversation pieces and are calorie-free. Thanks for stopping by. Paulette

Ewe's So Happy
Just love this stamp from my collection---it's from back in the 80's. These lambs are dancing in the warm Spring sun. Their wool was made using Liquid Applique and they are popped up on Action Wobbles---a spring mechanism that gives movement to the card. Let's hope that like these lambs we'll soon be jumping for joy as this long, snowy winter comes to an end.
Happy Spring! Paulette

Here Comes Iris---The Easter Bunny
Meet Iris---The Easter Bunny. I used the American Crafts designer paper as inspiration for my color palette. This is a Stamp N Plus stamp from the Iris Fold collection and can be found HERE. I used some green foil gift wrap to create the iris fold egg.
Easter is next Sunday so I'm sending you my Easter Greetings with this blog post.

Meet Daisy
Meet Daisy Mason---she's a character from Downton Abbey and I chose Daisy as one of my characters in the Downton Abbey Artist Trading Card swaps on Splitcoaststampers. Daisy Mason (née Robinson), is an assistant cook at Downton Abbey and the widow of William Mason. She lives under the strict but caring eye of Beryl Patmore, the cook. Daisy is usually seen in a light pink dress. Her birthdate is unknown but she is most likely very young in 1912. She is one of eleven children, as her mother was a "true Victorian" and had many offspring. Daisy is portrayed by Sophie McShera.
This is Daisy dressed in her Sunday Best. I've added a pearl embellishment to her dress and a bow to her hat. The gold daisy at the top are Dresden trim from the Paper Dreams Factory. I added a grossgrain ribbon to the bottom, an K & Co. daisy and some punched greenery and tiny punched flowers with stickle centers. Paper is DCWV.

Bee Happy!
A Belated Happy St. Patrick's Day! This little Irish bee is just one of a set of Stamp N Plus bee stamps that can be found HERE. The bee was stamped with black Stazon ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The coins were colored with a metallic gold pen. Glitz was added to the shamrocks and wings using Stickles. I created a gold border with a gold Krylon pen and then mounted my image panel on black and then on a green foil shamrock doily and then on a textured bright green card. Don't worry...Bee happy! Colors of Spring
One of my swap mates over on Splitcoaststampers chose Lime Green, Orange And Sky Blue for the colors in the current Pick a Theme ATC swap. I found this "Beautiful Girl" on a collage sheet from Moonlight Journey. The image was fussy cut and mounted on some sky blue patterned paper. This layer was outlined in gold Krylon pen. The lime green layer was run through a Cuttlebug with an embossing folder and then distressed with Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The flowers were formed from blossoms cut with a Spellbinders cherry blossom die set. I added pearls to her hair flowers, a blue organza hair bow, a liquid pearl necklace and some pearl & lace trim.
I think this pretty girl is blowing a kiss to the long, cold winter and is welcoming the spring. I know I'm ready for the new season. Paulette

Downton Abbey: Baby Sybil & Carson
I'm in a Downton Abbey Character ATC swap on Splitcoaststampers. I chose Baby Sybil as one of my characters. Just love this picture of the baby with Carson showing he's really just an old softy.
Have a great day. Paulette

By the Sea ATC
One of my swap partners in a Pick a Theme Artist Trading Card swap on Splitcoaststampers chose the colors turquoise and silver. I just love this Mermaid and Seagull stamp from the By the Sea collection from Stamp N Plus. I stamped with Black Stazon. Colored the mermaid and the seagull's beak with my Prismacolor pencils. All the sparkly parts were colored with silver, turquoise and yellow Ultimate Glitter acrylic paints. I added a seashell charm and some pearls.

Life's a Beach
One of my swap partners on Splitcoaststampers chose the color combo of white, red and gray. While the white I chose is a bit dingy and distressed and the gray borders on black, I think she'll like my ATC. The image is from a Graphic 45 paper.

Daily Window Bag
In December I won this tote bag in a contest from Daily Window Bags. The clear pocket in the front provides a place to display my artwork. I used my grandkids Christmas card to design the card I placed in my purse. I added some glittery die cut flourishes and some rhinestone bling to complement the photo. The picture is from Chelsea and Royce's holiday band concert.

LeAnn
My daughter, LeAnn, is a Pisces. Her birthday was March 1st. This twinchie (2"x2") is dedicated to her.
The stamp by Stamp N Plus is from the "By the Sea" collection and is called "Mermaid and Seagull." It's F2159. I stamped with Black Stazon Ink and colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I edged the twinchie with a gold leaf Krylon pen. I added Stickles to her dress and hat. A starfish charm completes the design.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. Paulette Akagi
